Sol Kerzner launches the One&Only in Cape Town

Offering an unprecedented level of luxury, the One&Only is the perfect getaway to experience the enchanting adventures of the continent at an idyllic resort, hotel and spa that guarantees the most memorable life’s experience.

The modern One&Only is situated amidst the vibrant Victoria & Alfred Waterfront in Cape Town. Guests staying at the hotel can expect an unprecedented level of luxury while admiring the magnificent views of Table Mountain, enjoying the close proximity of the ocean and the uniqueness of the waterfront resort’s private spa.

The architecture of the hotel portrays African flair, numerous landscapes and bridges, tropical gardens and waterways. The hotel has seven floors and 91 spacious rooms and suites, and an ultramodern health and beauty spa housing world-class equipment.

Located in close walking distance to exciting nightlife and entertainment, the hotel is an ideal gateway to the uniquely rare adventures of South Africa such as wildlife safaris, wine country excursions and enjoyable visits to Cape Town’s sandy white beaches such as Camps Bay and Clifton.

Dining at the One&Only Cape Town

The culinary experience for guests at the hotel is defined by creativity and joyful discovery.

Two Michelin-starred chefs are behind the resort’s dining choices: the legendary Nobu Matsuhisa and the cutting-edge celebrity chef,
Gordon Ramsay.

The Nobu Restaurant: Guests are invited to experience awe-inspiring Japanese cuisine at the Nobu Restaurant. Its acclaimed master chef Nobuyuki Matsuhisa provides an innovative blend of classically styled Japanese cuisine incorporating fresh South African seafood and indigenous spices to create unique dishes such as toro tartar, rock shrimp and scallops in yuzu sauce, and mochi ice cream.

The Maze Restaurant: Gordon Ramsay’s culinary dishes are prepared in an open show kitchen. The menu features the best in South African seafood and game as well as organic produce from local South Africa farms.

In addition, the spectacular tri-level Wine Loft houses more than 5 000 bottles, including popular and undiscovered South African vintages.

Accommodation

Exclusive, dark African woods, contemporary artwork by local artisans and modern amenities emphasise the 131 spacious rooms and suites at the hotel.

The generous interiors of the suites are decorated with fashionable fabrics and carefully selected furnishings that reflect the warm colour tones of Africa’s savannahs, with bright splashes of colour paying tribute to South Africa’s
vibrant character.

The sumptuously appointed, oversized baths are complete with rain shower, private water closet and dual marble vanity.

The rooms and suites at the One&Only are attended to by the discreet services of dedicated butlers who are available 24 hours a day.

Each of the 91 rooms and suites within the seven-storey Marina Rise features expansive glass doors that lead onto private balconies, providing unobstructed views of the picturesque harbour side and the splendid Table Mountain – Cape Town’s icon.

The central location, five-star hospitality and a relaxed lively atmosphere are dominant at the One&Only Cape Town. From the discreet and attentive services of a personal butler to the welcoming smiles, the comfort and care of each guest is attended to with a genuine thoughtfulness.

Services available to guests

To mention a few services offered at the hotel are 24-hour personal butler service, fresh fruit of choice delivered daily, choice of cocktail snacks, twice daily maid service, nightly turndown service, pillow selection menu and the aromatherapy turndown menu.

Exclusively designed and furnished to appeal to guests who are accustomed to the highest standards, all guest rooms at the One&Only are welcoming and provide a heaven of comfort
and tranquillity.

Relaxing aromas, serene lighting, calm music and the finest bed and bath linens provide guests with the ultimate in luxury, complemented by a host of considerate amenities and services.
